Real Housewives of NYC visit the Setai Spa’s Aquagrotto on Wall Street……………….
The Real Housewives of New York City visited the Setai Spa on Wall Street for the taping of a spa day in their 2014 season, before heading out to Southampton. They R&R’d in the Aquagrotto which is a thermal heat lounge featuring a mineral pool jacuzzi, aromatherapy steam room and sauna–although it is usually under maintenance when I drop in (typical for any spa with pool amenities), it is where these New York City women went to take a relaxing dip while sipping champagne & prosecco, and of course to find their way into another childish quarrel! I had the pleasure of visiting the same plush treatment room that can accommodate a few friends or couples in a full body massage therapy on one side, while the other side rests an old fashioned bathtub so tremendous that if you don’t hold on tight or have your lover with you, you will float away! Visiting the Setai Spa Wall Street located in the heart of downtown’s dynamic Financial District, sort of reminds me of a contemporary asian-fusion version of an Equinox décor, only with ultra dim lights. I always love noticing the fact that there are so many good looking men in the fitness center located on the same floor as the tranquil spa amenity areas. I feel like I am walking though a maze. it is so huge!
Most of my fans who follow my posts and articles, know that I am firm believer in the alternative healing benefits of thermal plunges, ocean therapies and frequently cover articles on any type of thalassotherapy that very few spa’s have to properly offer, I hope to get there on a good day so I can really get a good feel for this (minus the drama and video cameras, and with an extra bottle of Prosecco!).
